CORONAVIRUS SAFETY PROCEDURES

We’ve staggered our appointments, reorganized our stations and added plexiglass between stations. 

That way, we can minimize contact between each client and allow for 6 feet of social distancing, when needed. 

If you feel sick and/or have a cough, fever, or have been expose to someone with COVID-19 we ask that you please stay at home. Call the salon to cancel and we will reschedule your appointment (cancelation fee will be waived).

No guests, children or pets to accompany you at your appointment.

Arrive no earlier than 5 mins before check-in. If earlier, we ask you please wait in your car or outside the salon.

When you arrive knock on the door and our front desk will greet you.

Please keep all jackets/personal belongings/purses with you or leave them in your car. We will not be providing closet space at this time.

Masks and face coverings are required at all times. If you forget yours, you can purchase one for $2.

We will be taking temperatures upon entry. It must be below 100.4 degrees to come in for your appointment.

No food delivery or eating is permitted, unless necessary for medical reasons. We will also not be providing any beverages other than water bottles.

All rebooking of appointments will need to be done over the phone, online or email.

We’ve updated our pricing ($5 separate charge) to cover our additional cleaning, sanitation, and supplies to keep you and our staff safe.

We’re no longer taking walk-ins to ensure our waiting area is safe and social distancing guidelines are followed.

Clients must sanitize their hands when they arrive at the salon.

We will be taking your temperature when you arrive.

Our online booking is processed through booker.com, an industry standard. You may reserve your appointments as far as 90 days in advance or as little as 90 minutes.

Your appointments are very important to MELO YELO, it is reserved especially for you, and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

STRICT AND ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply. We will be asking for a credit card to have on file.

- Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

 - “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. 

- Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

- Multiple services not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.  50%  of your multiple services may be charged to your credit card to reserve the appointmenttime.

- The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone.
